We warmly thank Vagabonde for helping us in this journey by providing us with the key elements, two fantastic bikes. We greatly appreciate both their professionalism and friendliness. With their highly customised creations they make high quality and affordable “made in France” bikes a reality. Each bike they make is unique; it takes the best from the handicraft and industrial worlds. Vagabonde is working on mastering the whole manufacturing for technical, social, environmental and economic reasons. Vagabonde is definitelly a winning bet when choosing a bike!!!

We are deeply grateful to Harry Kikstra, funder of “the 7 summits” for sponsoring us for our Aconcagua expedition. We have dreamt to climb this symbolic mountain for a long time and now it’s coming to reality thanks to Harry. Let’s hope we make it to the top !

Harry is a professional mountaineer but also a very experienced biker; he has completed many fascinating journeys including one from Alaska to Ushuaia (http://worldonabike.com). On top of it, Harry is the co-founder of a “social enterprise”, Flexiway Solar Solutions, that replaces Kerosene lamps with solar-powered LED light within local communities in Africa and the rest of the world. Bernard Olivier Assurances has very kindly sponsored our bike insurance for our journey. We are particularly grateful to him since the big insurance companies do not provide this kind of service. Therefore, we can definitely advise this company to our fellow bike travellers!
